Mention complete and accurate details about existing medical conditions, known allergies to food or drugs, dietary supplements, vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements or OTC medications that you may be using.
Do not use Ventolin if:
You are allergic to albuterol
Maintain caution while using Ventolin if:
You have heart disease
You have high blood pressure or congestive heart failure;
You have a heart rhythm disorder;
You have a seizure disorder such as epilepsy;
You have diabetes; or
You have an overactive thyroid.

Side Effects
Mild side effects are commonly experienced while using Ventolin. They do not need medical treatment and usually subside on their own. Some examples are headache, dizziness; sleep problems (insomnia); cough, hoarseness, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose; mild nausea, vomiting; dry mouth and throat; muscle pain; or diarrhea.
If these side effects become bothersome or do not fade away after a while, then seek medical assistance.
Serious side effects that need immediate medical assistance are rare.
Some of them are bronchospasm (wheezing, chest tightness, trouble breathing), especially after starting a new canister of this medicine; chest pain and fast, pounding, or uneven heart beats;
tremor, nervousness; low potassium (confusion, uneven heart rate, extreme thirst, increased urination, leg discomfort, muscle weakness or limp feeling); or dangerously high blood pressure (severe headache, blurred vision, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, uneven heartbeats, seizure).
