Priligy contains the active ingredient dapoxetine and helps men to delay their ejaculation time during sexual intercourse. It is an anti-depressant that also helps to improve mood.

Dosage and Time

Take one dose of Priligy at least 60 minutes before having sexual intercourse with or without a meal. Avoid alcoholic beverages.

Priligy has the lowest activation time amongst erectile dysfunction medications.

There are four different doses available. They are 2.5, 5, 10 and 20 mg.

Irrespective of the dosage prescribed for you, do not use more than one dose in a 24 hour period.


Store Priligy at room temperature in a cool and dark place. Keep away from children and pets.

Speak about your medical history to your healthcare provider.

Mention complete and accurate details about existing medical conditions, known allergies to food or drugs, dietary supplements, vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements or OTC medications that you may be using.

Dosage may be reduced in the following conditions:

You have kidney problems and are undergoing dialysis
You have a condition called NAION which causes a loss of blood flow to the optic nerve.
You have other vision problems
You have hearing problems
You have high blood pressure
Your immune system is compromised due to conditions like HIV and are using medication to control it
You have recently suffered a seizure or a stroke

Do not use Priligy if:

You are allergic to Tadalafil
You have poor cardiac health and exercise, physical exertion or sexual activity is restricted to you
You have a deformed penis
You are using prescription medicines containing nitrates like Amyl nitrate or butyl nitrate
You use recreational drugs called Poppers

Mention to the doctor if you use the following medications:

• Alpha blockers like e Hytrin® (terazosin HCl), Flomax® (tamsulosin HCl), Cardura® (doxazosin mesylate), Minipress® (prazosin HCl), Uroxatral® (alfuzosin HCl), or Rapaflo® (silodosin) Ritonavir (Norvir®) or indinavir sulfate (Crixivan®), saquinavir (Fortavase® or

• Invirase®) or atazanavir (Reyataz®), or other HIV protease inhibitors

• Ketoconazole or itraconazole (such as Nizoral® or Sporanox®)

• Erythromycin or clarithromycin

• Uinidine, procainamide, amiodarone, and sotalol

Side Effects

Mild side effects are commonly experienced while using Priligy. They do not need medical treatment and usually subside on their own. For example warmth or redness in your face, neck, or chest; stuffy nose; headache or an upset stomach.

Vision problems have been reported rarely.

If these side effects become bothersome or do not fade away after a while, then seek medical assistance.

Serious side effects that need immediate medical assistance are rare.
